Astragalus has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine in combination with other herbs, such as ginseng, dong quai, and licorice root.
Known for its potent "chi" enhancing effects, our finished Astragalus product is an extract from the woody stem of the Astragalus plant. We recommend using Astragalus in rotation with other chi enhancing herbs to combat the effects of stress, fatigue and over consumption of caffeine. An overall tonifying and energy enhancing effect is known to be felt soon after regular consumption begins.
How to use: Use 2g to 6g per day. This product needs to be activated with hot water or assimilated into an alcohol tincture for maximum absorption. Traditionally a tea is made from the powder or whole food form of Astragalus, however we also recommend using this product while cooking pastas or grains and as an addition to soup broth.
