Cinnamon essential oil (Cinnamomum verum), 10ml, derived from the bark of the cinnamon tree grown in tropical regions.
Vaporisation: add 2 to 5 drops to a diffuser or aroma burner.
Topical application: dilute 1 to 2 drops in 10ml of a carrier oil such as cold-pressed sesame, olive, jojoba, argan or coconut oil. Can be added to bath salts.
Ingestion: 1 to 2 drops diluted in 200ml of water, 30ml of olive oil, a spoonful of honey, or in a vegetable capsule. Can also be added to smoothies and salad dressings.
Caution: this is a concentrated product. Conduct a skin patch allergy test before first use. For external use only on undiluted skin; use responsibly during pregnancy and keep away from direct sunlight. If pregnant or nursing, seek individual advice before use. Avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep away from children and pets. Some essential oils can interact with pharmaceuticals; consult your physician if you take any medication.
