Organic/Bio Harra (Haritaki, Terminalia chebula) is a naturally bitter, mildly sweet dried fruit used in Ayurvedic tradition, typically consumed as a warm infusion.
Ingredients: Bio-Organic Harra (Haritaki) dried fruit (Terminalia chebula).
Preparation: break into small pieces with a mortar and pestle, or wrap in cloth and tap gently. Boil 1 to 2 pieces (about 2 to 3g) in 250 to 300ml water for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain and consume warm, once daily for up to 10 to 14 days.
Caution: not recommended for pregnant women, children under 5, or those with chronic diarrhea.
Nutritional information per 3g: about 6 kcal, less than 1g sugar, naturally caffeine-free. Contains tannins and chebulinic acid.
Storage: keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Best used within 24 months of packaging.
