Organic/Bio Barro (Belleric Myrobalan) is a mildly bitter, astringent dried fruit, traditionally consumed as a warm infusion. Naturally caffeine free.
Ingredients: Bio-Organic Barro (dried Terminalia bellirica fruit).
Preparation: break into smaller pieces with a mortar and pestle, or wrap in cloth and tap gently. Use 1 to 2 pieces (2 to 3g) in 250 to 300ml hot water. Boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain and drink warm, once daily.
Caution: avoid during pregnancy, or in cases of constipation, without medical guidance.
Nutritional information per 3g serving: about 5 to 7 kcal, 0% caffeine, negligible sugar and fat.
Storage: store in a dry, cool place away from direct light. Shelf life 24 months from packaging.
